The FEASTIVAL Dinner Series Is Going Virtual This Year and They’ll Deliver the Food & Drinks to Your Door!
FEASTIVAL, Philadelphia’s leading culinary fundraiser benefiting FringeArts, will return in 2020 with a new virtual event format. From October 8 – October 11, 2020, the FEASTIVAL Dinner Series will present a curated collection of five interactive culinary experiences that deliver a signature mix of food, drink and performance right to participants’ homes. As always, the proceeds of FEASTIVAL will benefit FringeArts, Philadelphia’s home for contemporary art. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic’s impact on the hospitality and restaurant industries, FEASTIVAL will be donating to two additional organizations, The Pennsylvania Restaurant and Lodging Association’s Hospitality Assistance Response of Pennsylvania (HARP) fund, an emergency relief fund administering financial grants to unemployed restaurant workers, and Cooking for the Culture, an organization dedicated to highlighting black culinary talent in our city and across the nation and tackling inequity in the kitchen.
“Over the past 11-years, it has been an honor to bring people together through FEASTIVAL to celebrate Philadelphia’s evolving and thriving culinary and creative arts culture. While this year our event may look a bit different, we are thrilled to have the opportunity to carry out our tradition in a new way that will allow us to continue supporting FringeArts by coming together for food and performance,” says Joanne Marder, the Senior Director of Development of the Governor’s Woods Foundation and FEASTIVAL. “Whether our attendees spend an evening in the kitchen learning from their favorite chef, or join us nightly for a different fun-filled experience, we are proud to present a series that gives our supporters a unique opportunity to relive the community and camaraderie of the ‘party of the year’ from the comfort of their own kitchen.”
Tickets for FEASTIVAL are now available via https://fringearts.com/2020-feastival/. Each event ticket will provide access to a box containing the items needed to actively participate in the digital experience from home. As always, the FEASTIVAL events will be paired with a unique performance brought to you by FringeArts.
