Walnut Street Will Be Shut Down for The Annual Rittenhouse Row Spring Festival Featuring Food, Fun, Drinks, and Music

Each year more than 50,000 people descend on Walnut Street for the annual Rittenhouse Row Spring Festival. “The Festival is intended to provide a one-day welcome back to office workers, suburbanites, visiting friends and relatives and others who forget how much they love the energy and vibrancy of the Rittenhouse lifestyle. Member businesses create an affordable and approachable presentation to give festivalgoers a sample of their offerings,” organizers stated.

This year’s Rittenhouse Row Spring Festival will take place on Saturday May 3rd from noon-5 pm. Rain or shine, guests can enjoy a car-free experience Walnut Street from 15th to 19th Streets, 18th Street from Locust to Sansom Street. The neighborhood restaurants will be setting up shop on the sidewalks to feature the best bits, shopping, and entertainment.

“The event features local businesses selling and promoting their brand alongside national brand activations, live entertainment, fashion and extraordinary food and beverage from top Philadelphia restaurants. The spirit of the day is accessible luxury—a way for the community, suburbanites and out of town visitors connect with all the upscale experiences that the businesses of Rittenhouse Row offer.  The event was paused in 2020, 2021 and 2022 and relaunched in 2023. The Rittenhouse Row Spring Festival been a staple event in the area since Rittenhouse Row was founded in the late 1990s. The festival is a Philadelphia tradition with new elements, new energy and many first-time participants each year,” organizers added.

FOOD + DRINK  HIGHLIGHTS

  • a bar + a Kitchen: Chef Eli Collins’ Best of Philly-winning burgers and margaritas
  • Bar Bombon: Vegan walking tacos, street corn, agua frescas
  • Barclay Prime will feature their iconic Wagyu Sliders alongside a Lobster Roll and Palomas. For the first time ever, attendees can enjoy a bump from the Barclay Prime Caviar Cart located next to their tent.
  • The Bellevue: Lobster tacos
  • BOTLD: Complimentary spirits sampling
  • Butcher and Singer embraces Derby Day with Crab Cake Sliders and refreshing bourbon + grapefruit cocktail.
  • The Continental Mid-town is hosting an out of this world space themed pop-up and invites you to enjoy a frozen take on their classic cocktail: The Astronaut. Don’t miss out on cheesesteak egg rolls, ice cream sandwiches and photo ops with a rocket ship!
  • The Dandelion Pub pulls out all of the stops, offering attendees Fish and Chips as the perfect festival fuel.
  • El Merkury: Churros, street corn, horchata and cucumber lemonade
  • El Rey is bringing the fiesta to 18th & Walnut with a Cinco de Mayo celebration filled with frozen margs and as many tacos as your heart desires. Plus, guests can build their own piñata!
  • Flakely: Gluten free pop tarts, Funfetti cake cups, pistachio rose donuts
  • The Ground Rittenhouse: Beignets, matcha, cold brew, fresh lemonade, iced tea
  • HipCIty Veg: Plant based vegan chick-n nuggets, tangerine turmeric lemonade
  • Jet Wine Bar: Red and white sangria, Triple Bottom Beer
  • Kampar: Sate, achat, Teh Tarik, Kopi
  • Lacroix: Chicken sausage
  • Oyster House: shrimp cocktail and oysters shucked on-site
  • Parc’s Frosé makes a return for the first and only time this season. Get it while you can! Don’t forget to take a peek inside of their ice cream cart for a sweet surprise.
  • Catch Philadelphia Distilling at the Rittenhouse Row Festival for a day of laid-back pool party vibes. DJ Curtis Remarc will be spinning house music all day while we pour Bluecoat cocktails. Come lounge, play yard games, and dance — or just soak it all in.

The Sisterly Love Collective area on the 1500 block will feature booths from Art By Alicia, Daisy Lane Studio, El Merkury, Fay String Art, Fishtown Pickle Project, Fistful of Flowers, Flakely, the Jet Wine Bar Cocktail Garden, Kampar, Lily Lough Jewelry, Maker Missya,  Perade, Street Side Shop, Sundry Mornings Spice Co.

LAGOS Rittenhouse is hosting a weekend shopping event in support of Eagles Autism Foundation. We’re inviting all Philadelphians to shop for a cause Friday, May 2 – Sunday, May 4, with 25% of all purchases going to the organization. EAF will be offering incentives to encourage donations, with autographed footballs and jerseys available at the $5,000 and $10,000 levels.
