Many trendy spots have sprung up but in the middle of this craft beer renaissance, The Bottle Shop has become a staple in this section of the city. With a large assortment of bottled craft beers, visitors can purchase a single bottle or a six pack for a 10% discount. For those that would like to sample beers on the spot, The Bottle Shop has four rotating taps offering up some of the best craft beers including seasonal favorites. Snacks and sandwiches are also available onsite as this is a nice chill spot to cool off during the upcoming summer days.

With several coolers carrying beers from Philly and all over the globe, you may never get around to trying them all. What makes this place even greater is the atmosphere. The cool and hip decor fits right in with the surrounding ambiance of the neighborhood. Bottle Bar East is not only a great take out spot but also a great place to hang out and have a drink or a bite to eat from their kitchen. This spot even has a nice little hang out spot upstairs where you can enjoy some foosball or a game of darts. Bottle Bar East is the complete package.

For those that live or work in or around Center City this is your go to spot. With a craft beer selection that rivals any of those in local neighborhoods, this place has it all. Not only is this a great place to get a six pack of brew on your way home from work, but it’s also a great place to hang out. This spot has a bistro atmosphere with sheik decor, it is almost like one big man cave. With plenty of TVs on hand and good food on deck, we recommend this place if you are looking to enjoy your brews on the spot.

Come ye’ beer faithful and witness the spectacle that is Beer Heaven. In all seriousness, this place is awesome. This place is for those that know what they want and whatever you are looking for this place has it. Offering 10% discount on 6 packs, Beer Heaven has great pricing on their selection as well. Beer Heaven may not offer food and a relaxing lounge area on site, but then again this is a take out list and Beer Heaven probably has one of the best take out selections you will see in the city. So all beer drinkers must pay homage to this holy land.

Great craft beer selections are not just limited to cool and trendy neighborhoods. The very established North East Philly is where hispters are scarce and craft beer is plentiful. However, the Craft Beer Outlet reigns supreme around these parts. This clean and bright shop boasts beers from all over the globe. They also state that if a beer that you are looking for is not in stock they will try their best to get it for you. If that’s not service I don’t know what is. The folks here are very knowledgeable about beer and can help you make the right selection the first time.
