Thunderbird Salvage is Hosting Weirdo Fest Featuring 25 Vendors, Wrestling, and an Appearance by Geoffrey the Giraffe
If you’re looking to get an early jump on your holiday shopping or simply want something cool and unique for your home, here’s your chance to scoop some rare finds.
On November 4th, Now + Then Marketplace is returning to Thunderbird Salvage (2441 Frankford Ave.) for Weirdo Fest, the East Kensington Arts and Oddities Festival put on by local print shop Fireball Printing.
The event will host 25 vendors on the sidewalk around Thunderbird Salvage, with special guest appearances from everyone’s favorite toy store mascot Geoffrey the Giraffe.
The festivities kick off at 2pm and lasts until 6 pm and includes Wrestling across the street in Philadelphia Brewing Co.’s parking lot. Vendors range from vintage dealers and local artists like Atlas Vintage to fresh juice from Jrip Juicery. As always the market is free to attend, dog, and kid friendly. There are still plenty of vendor spots open for those interested in being apart of the festivities. Secure a vendor spot at www.eventbrite.
