The Wine Garden to Host All-White Brunch Affair at the Navy Yard With Buffet and Unlimited Mimosas and Sangria

The Wine Garden will present its signature All White Brunch Affair on Sunday, August 31, from 12 to 3 p.m. at The Navy Yard (1413 Langley Ave.). Guests are invited to dress in elegant all-white attire for a brunch experience designed around style, community, and celebration.

The event features a three-hour garden-style gathering with unlimited sangria and an unlimited mimosa bar offering guava, mango, passionfruit, and peach flavors. Guests can also enjoy a curated brunch buffet that includes:

  • Assorted hors d’oeuvres and fresh fruit display

  • Seasonal salad and a variety of pastries

  • Chicken and waffles

  • Shrimp and grits

  • Home fries

  • Turkey sausage or bacon

A custom photo backdrop will be on site for guests to capture the moment. Brunch service runs from 12 to 1:30 p.m., and vegan meal options are available by request.

The event will feature John Sax, The Wine Garden’s in-house saxophonist, alongside music from DJ Lady FX—voted Best Wedding DJ by Philly Mag—and DJ Greg Nitty of 100.3 FM.

Founded in 2019 by Philadelphia natives Nazaret and Favian, The Wine Garden began as an effort to bring the feel of a backyard gathering to the community. What started as a single outdoor concept has expanded into a second location at the Navy Yard, where events now include brunches, happy hours, paint-and-sip nights, music sessions, wellness activities, and wine tastings.

“Our goal has always been to make wine fun and accessible,” said co-founder Favian. “We want our business to be known for exceptional customer service and as a place where people create their most memorable moments.”

Nazaret added, “My life motto is to live every hour like it’s happy hour.”

The Wine Garden regularly features wines from around the world, with a focus on spotlighting Black-owned vendors such as Aurora’s Vine, Strange Fruit Wines, and Kirae Wines. Rotating food vendors and caterers keep the culinary experience fresh throughout the season.

Tickets are available on Eventbrite and are non-refundable, but credits may be applied to future Wine Garden events. The event is tented and will run rain or shine.
