The St. Patrick’s Day Pop-Up Bar “Green Elephant” Just Opened in Center City With Themed Cocktails and Food

Craft Concepts Group and Teddy Sourias have mastered the art of the pop-up experience. Just in time for St. Patrick’s Day, guests will be able to enjoy their latest concept, Green Elephant which opened on March 1st.

Located at 1500 Locust, this location may ring a bell as it operated under White Elephant for Christmas and Pink Elephant for Valentine’s Day. Now this all new experience celebrates both St. Patrick’s Day and the start of spring and the flower show. Follow the ten foot rainbow to a shimmering new theme bar that features a giant installation, perfect for those looking for the perfect photo opt.

Once inside Irish beers and a curated menu complete the St. Paddy’s day vibes along with a giant tree and lush greenery, covered in shimmering lanterns and luminaries hanging overhead.

Guests will also find an eight foot long four leafed clover, a six foot tall St. Patrick’s leprechaun hat, hundreds of four leaf clovers, custom artwork, fluffy clouds against emerald skylines, hanging spring umbrellas in full bloom, dazzling plants, Irish scenes on the televisions, Irish tunes in the air, and even a new water feature behind the bar.  For food and drink look for authentic Irish beers pouring on draft, St. Patrick’s themed cocktails, and themed food from the kitchen such as Fish and Chips, Corned Beer and Cabbage Eggrolls, Yuengling Beer Battered Pickle Chips and Guinness Smashburger.

The hours will be Monday to Thursday, 4:00pm to Midnight, Friday 4:00pm to 2:00am, Saturday 4:00pm to 2:00am and Sunday 4:00pm to Midnight. Twenty-one and up to enter and to drink (with identification).
Craft Concepts Group is ever evolving to fit the needs of the neighborhood and recognize vacuums of space where a fun, spunky, and unique new concept could be. As a fan of themed pop-ups, owner Teddy Sourias recognized the former Blume space as the perfect location for his next concept – a fun and flowery Saint Patrick’s Day pop-up bar.

VIBES AND DESIGN

Green Elephant is an escape-from-the-city oasis that celebrates the spirit of Saint Patrick’s Day and ushers in the season of spring. It will be an immersive experience, combining the charm of a secret garden with the allure of a lucky atmosphere. The centerpiece of this pop-up bar is a nothing short of majestic tree standing floor to ceiling sourced from the skilled hands of the carpenters who crafted CCG’s newest Uptown Tiki Bar, Kedera.

In the spirit of Saint Patrick’s Day, the team has curated many elements that give the feel of  the Luck of the Irish celebration. Picture-perfect moments include a 10-foot long rainbow, leading to a treasure chest, and towering 6-foot tall Saint Patrick’s Day top hat. An impressive 8-foot tall four-leaf clover provides the perfect backdrop for festive selfies.

The ambiance is enhanced by a night sky mural, complete with lit clouds, creating an outdoor experience in the heart of the city. As the seasons change, the space will transition into a lush green oasis, adorned with florals for visitors to enjoy through June.

What sets this pop-up bar apart is its custom-built design on-site. Every detail has been meticulously crafted to make the space feel like a permanent oasis in the middle of the city, providing a unique experience with each visit. The goal is to make it unlike any other pop-up event CCG has ever hosted, ensuring a fresh and captivating atmosphere for all.

Sourias said, “Gather your luck and join us in celebrating the arrival of Saint Patrick’s Day, Spring, and the beauty of this secret garden oasis.”
