The Red Rūm Theater Transform Into an Immersive Adult-Only Cabaret Shows This February
The Red Rum Theater has made a name for itself as Philly’s only murder mystery venue. Now, just in time for the Valentine’s Day season, Red Rum Theater will be hosting their own adult cabaret shows dubbed the Freak Friday Series. Exclusively for 18+, this adult-only, interactive cabaret-style performances are set to kick off on February 2nd.
Freaky Fridays will be held at the Red Rūm Theater (601 Walnut St.) starting with four live shows, and then continuing indefinitely into 2024 with a variety of productions. Each show is different, and ranges from everything from burlesque to bingo, to belly dancers and so much more. “Red Rūm’s Freaky Friday series promises to deliver a one-of-a-kind journey into immersive entertainment, inviting guests to explore a trail of uniqueness and intrigue,” the venue states.

Freaky Friday – series consists of Burlesque Bingo, which will be performed on Friday, February 2nd at 8 p.m. Between each round of bingo, guests will be able to enjoy a performance by one of Envoute Entertainment’s saucy burlesque performers. Burlesque Bingo will return on Friday, April 5th for a second performance. Tickets are $30.
Nugent’s Follies- On February 16th, Envoute Entertainment is also presenting the second Freaky Fridays performance, at 8 p.m. Nugent’s Follies is a sensational vaudevillian extravaganza featuring a dynamic live band where audience members can transport themselves into the dazzling entertainment era of 1920s Philadelphia, reminiscent of the Trocadero’s golden days.
Dirty Potter-Dirty Potter Show and Quizzo hits the stage on Friday, February 23rd at 8 p.m, and will continue every third Friday of each month in 2024. Guests will interact with familiar characters as their drama unfolds. Between scenes they’ll be quizzed on their wizarding world knowledge, competing with other players for the grand prize.
It’s Not Personal, It’s Drag! –On March 8, April 12th, May 10th, and June 7th, a star studded cast of local drag performers hosted and produced by Meg Cutting and Dominique Lee are bringing the hottest drag show to Old City, Philadelphia for a Drag Brunch at night.
