The Popular Haunted Attraction, Pennhurst Asylum is Back Featuring Overnight Tours, Daytime Tours and More
It’s time to mark your calendars because one of the largest and highest rated haunted attractions is back. That’s right the Pennhurst Asylum is opening the doors to of their spine chilling landmark on September 24th. Listed as the the #1 haunted attraction by Hauntworld.com as well as securing a top spot in USA Today’s rankings of scary attractions, Pennhurt Asylum has become one of the biggest Halloween draws in the region.
Stranger Things fans may recall Pennhurst Asylum being mentioned on the hit show. Now guests can once again tour this frightening attraction in person. Guests will have a variety of ways to experience Pennhurst including the popular overnight tours. That’s right if you haven’t experienced it before, the Paranormal Investigation overnight options is definitely not for the faint of heart. As an investigator you will be able to search for spirit activity on the grounds of the infamous Pennhurst. Investigators will have access to all four floors of the notoriously haunted Mayflower Hall. Also included is the underground tunnels of Philadelphia, Devon, and Rockwell. Investigations will begin at 8PM and run til 2AM.
The newest attraction, Mayflower After Dark, serves as a museum open for history and paranormal investigations. Guests will experience an array of Pennhurst artifacts that were left behind taking them back to what life was like living with mental and emotional challenges. Daytime tours as well as site rentals are also available.
Pennhurst Asylum is located at 250 Commonwealth Dr, Spring City, PA. Ticket office hours run Friday and Saturday 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., and Sunday from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
