The Philly Surf Club is Hosting a 2-Day Island Themed Pop-Up at Winston on the Water With Cocktails, Music, & Free Tattoos

Want a slice of island life without leaving the city? Well, Philly Surf Club featuring some of Philly’s top bartenders will be curating a two-day Island themed experience at Winston on the Water (325 N Christopher Columbus Blvd.) on August 4th & 5th 7pm – midnight.

Guests will get to enjoy specially crafted cocktails, small bites, DJs, and free tattoos and it’s free to attend.  Leaning heavily on tropical flavors, the cocktail menu, curated by Franklin Mortgage’s Nico Diaz, features recipes by some of Philly’s best bartenders – Rito Munive & Matt Gould (Ranstead Room), Rob Scott (Almanac), Emily Mitchell (Franklin Mortgage), and visiting from DC’s nationally acclaimed Service Bar & Amazonia, Glendon Hartley.

“After producing a ton of popups at both Franklin Mortgage and the Ranstead Room and at amazing cocktail bars across the country, I began working on ideas for what would become Philly Surf Club. Really, I wanted to do it at an outdoor event space. So when Ryan Dorsey (of Winston on the Water) reached out and asked if I was interested in doing something at Winston On the Water, it was perfect timing,” states Nico Diaz

As for the food, Chef Tevon Ty’s Hummingbird Island will be on-hand to provide Jamaican-focused small bites as well as complimentary sweet treats by Adamance Purée (while they last).  The Latin Vibes DJs will be providing well you guessed it, the vibes with Latin & Afro-House.
