The Penn Museum is Hosting “CultureFest” to Celebrate Women Artists and Creatives
As Women’s History Month continues, The Penn Museum (3260 South St.) is adding their own celebration into the mix. As part of their events this month, the museum will be spotlighting women artists and creatives as part of their CultureFest taking place March 11th from 10 am to 4 m.
CultureFest’s daylong festivals will include live performances, storytelling, hands-on workshops, plus an artist marketplace. CultureFest pays homage to Women’s History Month by raising up often overlooked contributions of movers and shakers across cultures, communities, and all throughout history.
This event is family friendly and a “celebration giving voice to the lesser-told stories all women about pushing boundaries, inspiring innovation, and the universal impulse to create,” Penn Museum states. See event schedule below. Tickets are $18 and includes museum access. Current subscribes will receive free admission.
