The Foundation Bar at at the Divine Lorraine Will Host a Free to Enter Ski Club Pop-Up With DJs, Speakeasies, a Classic Lodge Vibes

Philly’s winter is getting a retro-alpine twist as Philly Ski Club, an immersive monthlong pop-up from Imbue Hospitality, takes over the event spaces beneath the Divine Lorraine starting January 9. Inspired by vintage aprés-ski culture and European ski lodges, this free-to-enter experience promises cozy clubhouse vibes, specialty cocktails, live music, dancing, and interactive surprises every weekend through February 1.

Located at 699 N. Broad Street, inside Foundation Bar, the transformation includes multiple themed spaces: a Main Clubhouse filled with DJs and live jazz, a playful Activities area with installations and games, and a rotating speakeasy that switches concepts each night—Secret Tiny Disco on Fridays and Listening Lounge on Saturdays.

There’s no ticket required and no cover at the door; simply pay as you go. All cocktails are specially priced at $15 and crafted by Nico Diaz.

Expect a constantly shifting soundtrack across multiple rooms:

Opening Weekend

  • Fri 1/9: Drew Nugent & The Midnight Society — live jazz in the Main Clubhouse

  • Sat 1/10: Latin Vibes DJs with Latin house & Afrobeat

  • Sun 1/11: Service Bar (No. 23 on North America’s 50 Best Bars) kicks off Industry Night

Recurring Performances

  • DJ Curtis Remarc (Saturdays): 90s hip hop, dancehall, R&B & funky breaks in Listening Lounge

  • 1/18: Bar Almanac

Across four weekends, guests can explore:

  • Rotating menus from visiting bartenders and nationally recognized bars

  • A mini festival-style merch stand where guests receive a complimentary garment

  • A ski-inspired photo ID keepsake “Lift Pass” with every visit

  • A “Crack The Liberty Bell” tequila installation by Mi Campo for frozen ice-mold shots

  • Semi-secret Snow Bunny Show pop-up performance every Saturday

  • Mini games, social spaces, and nostalgic alpine aesthetics

“We want Philly Ski Club to feel like a place you come back to again and again,” said organizer and bartender Nico Diaz “Our goal is to create a unique guest experience supported with great drinks and music—something special enough that you return for a second and third night.”
