Center City is about to be home to a new dining experience that delivers on food, drinks, and atmosphere. The all-new Miss Saigon (1316 Walnut) is slated to open late November/early December and will be serving up authentic Vietnamese street food set in a vibrant atmosphere.
This new concept will be headed by veteran restauranteurs Kenny Poon & Dave Taing along with partners Chef Tran, Chuong Nguyen, and Kevin Kaing. Tran who ran a food truck in Virginia called “Tommy Rolls” was always looking to open a brick and mortar to provide a full dining experience with small plates of authentic Vietnamese street food. Chuong who has years of restaurant experience experience in the D.C Metro area will serve as General Manager as well as manage the cocktail program.
Miss Saigon will be an 88 seat venue set in pop art decor designed by Kaing featuring artists Fre-Wil and Will Morales. The space itself has two levels, three, full bars, as well as a private karaoke room, removable stage area, and soon-t0-be installed marquee on the exterior facade.

In addition to the cuisine, Miss Saigon will offer plenty of entertainment including a state-of-the-art karaoke room as well as DJs on weekends.
