The 2nd Annual Rail Park Block Party is Coming Featuring Food, Vendors, Breweries, and Live Entertainment

As if we needed another reason to visit The Rail Park at 1300 Noble Street, this unique urban greenspace will be hosting their 2nd Annual Block Party on Saturday, June 10th from 12 pm- 5 pm. Spanning the length of the transformed rail line, turned park and a nearby parking lot, guests can expect plenty of food, drinks, vendors, live entertainment and activities for all ages.

In celebration of their 5 year anniversary, the @therailpark Block Party will include food vendors such as popular taco bar Loco Pez (@locopez) and Wrap and Snacks (@wraps_and_snacks). You know a Philly block party isn’t complete without water ice, Best Decision’s Water Ice (@bestdecisionswaterice) will be onsite serving all the flavor.

For adults, enjoy local brews in the pop-up beer garden from Triple Bottom Brewing @triplebottombrewing, Victory Brewing @victorybeer,  as well as wine from Gritty City Winery @grittycitywinery

Children (of all ages) will be entertained by a live storytelling experience, street games from Playstreets and art-making with Fleisher Color Wheels.

There will be plenty of live entertainment on-site with music down at the Electric Lot (1127 Callowhill) featuring Worldtown Sound System (@worldtown), Rego (@regothereshego), Carla Gamble (therealcarlagamble), @Killsing and Bobby Flowers (@itsbobbyflowers). Those looking to shop can check out local vendors including @bodacious.caricatures , @_marieandme , @the_p.e.p , @iffybooks and more.

Best of all, the 2nd Annual Rail Park Bllock Party helps to support the Friends of the Rail Park which is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and enhancing this iconic public space for generations to come.

So, bring your family, friends, and neighbors, or date and enjoy a day of celebration!  Advance registration is encouraged and can be done on Eventbrite.
