The 24th Annual Philadelphia Tattoo Arts Convention Kicks-Off This Week
When it comes to the Pennsylvania Convention Center, two annual shows always draw huge crowds, The Auto Show and the Philadelphia Tattoo Arts Convention. This year will mark the 24th year that the Tattoo Arts Convention has taken place in Philly and the event just seems to get bigger every time.
This year’s convention will run February 25th-27th and will feature an array of workshops and exhibitions. Although, the official convention kicks off Friday, there will be a free reception held Thursday. “Tattoo: Identity Through Ink Villain Arts Reception” will take place 7-9 pm “Philadelphia Artists, fans, and body art culture enthusiasts are welcome to gather for a fun evening reception exploring the exhibit. This is a free event, cash bar presented in partnership with Yards Brewery,” the description adds.
As for entertainment, Philadelphia Tattoo Arts Convention will feature the likes of James Maltman, Burlesque by Angelica Lavalier, No Gimmicks Needed Suspension Team, and Verona Fink. In addition a Miss Ink Pinup Contest will be held on Sunday at noon and will be hosted by Liberty Belles.
