Michelin-Starred Chef Jean-Georges, Is Reopening Jean-Georges Philadelphia at the Four Seasons This March

On March 10, 2022, Michelin-starred Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten introduces a new, six-course tasting menu format to Jean-Georges Philadelphia, his largest and highest restaurant (1,000 feet in the air) and in partnership with Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia at Comcast Center. The highly anticipated reopening will once again welcome guests to his immersive dining experience in the clouds after temporarily being closed since March 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The new menu, served in six elaborately choreographed courses priced at $198/person, will be a meticulously coordinated service with elements designed to inspire and delight at every course. “I want the first bite to be just as exciting as the last”, says Vongerichten. Seasonal ingredients native to the Philadelphia region will be prepared with classic French techniques, while calling on global influences and sourcing the freshest foraged vegetables, meats, and seafood from around the world. Guests can expect Jean-Georges’ iconic favorites, such as Egg Toast and Caviar, and Yellowfin Tuna Ribbons. They will be delighted to discover new dishes that thoughtfully layer in local flavors such as Philadelphia-distilled bourbon, locally grown elderflower, Pennsylvania-raised duck, fresh trout from the Pocono mountains, Yuzu from neighboring farms, bread made with stone ground flours and whole berry grains from Pennsylvania mills, and menus changing frequently driven by the season’s bounty.

For the first time, Jean-Georges Philadelphia will offer two versions of the tasting menu side by side: with one menu featuring delights of the land and sea, and one menu exclusively of the earth. A roving champagne trolley will offer guests an opportunity to explore rare labels by the glass or bottle, while an expertly crafted à la carte wine and spirits menu will be curated to reflect the best of Pennsylvania producers.

With its mirrored glass atrium and sky-high views, Jean-Georges Philadelphia is a destination where elevated dining and awe-inspiring architecture intersect to create an unforgettable experience. The restaurant will reopen for the first time with the talented Cornelia Sühr as Chef de Cuisine, who was appointed in Summer 2021 and who has worked in collaboration with Chef Jean-Georges to design this one-of-a-kind experience.

Jean-Georges Philadelphia will be open 5:30pm- 9:30pm, Thursday- Saturday. Reservations are required and can be reserved online 30 days in advance.
