Temple Alums Launch “Black Soul Summer,” a Series of Free Community Music Festivals
Black Soul Summer is a coalition of African American & Latino event curators and project managers who are producing culturally based events built for the community, by the community. Founded alongside Christian “TAMEARTZ” Rodriguez and Nashirah “DJ NA$H” Felder, Sync Production Group is scaling the capacity to showcase the entrepreneurial spirit driving this city by creating an independent ecosystem of artists, musicians, local businesses and community spaces.
To empower the neighborhoods and stimulate collective commerce we’ve partnered with two non-profit 501(c)3 organizations, Sunflower Philly and Mill Creek Community Partnerships, to host a free music festival series this summer featuring the following events:
