Teddy Sourias the Man Behind U-Bahn & BRU is Opening Up Cinder, a Sour Beer & Cider Bar

If you’re kinda’ new to Wooder Ice then you may have missed our exclusive interview with our man Teddy when he opened up U-Bahn.  Well Teddy is back at it again, and no he’s not rockin’ white vans but instead opening up yet another Center City bar which will be called Cinder.  His newest brew spot will focus on sour beers and ciders instead of the usual craft beer selections.

Although there is no date set yet for Cinder, we do know several key things including the location at 1500 Locust.  For beer snobs that are looking to take it to the next level. this places will have to be on your short list of watering holes to hit up this summer.  Some of the beers Teddy plans to serve will be costumed brews from Coppertail Brewing based in Tampa.  Their beers will be of the tart variety including tart ales mixed with fruit.  Dry hard apple and fruit ciders will also be on tap from regions all over the world.  This place will essentially be a global hodgepodge of the best tart and sour beers you can find.

Aside from the beers and ciders, Cinder will serve wood fire pizzas to soak up all that brew.  With seating for about 65-75 people, we see this place filling up fast especially considering that Teddy’s bars tend to draw crowds.
