Suplex Vintage Wrestling is Hosting a Special WrestleMania Block Party With a Wresting Ring and Live Wrestling
It’s safe to say Wrestlemania is taking over Philly and Philly’s premiere wrestling store, Suplex Vintage Wrestling (628 South St.) is ready to entertain fans. On April Saturday April 6th from 11 am to 6 pm, Suplex will host a special outdoor block party on South Street in celebration of Wrestlemania 40.
Wrestling fans will be treated to a full scale wrestling ring in the middle of the street with live matches featuring professional wrestlers. There will be plenty of photo opps with wrestling memorabilia and special guests, as well as food trucks, music and more.
Brauhaus Schmitz will host an outdoor Biergarten with beer from Stone Cold Austin, as well as The People’s Margarita made with Dwayne Johnson’s Teramana Tequila, plus other cold beverages. Famed hip hop artist and wrestling enthusiast Westside Gunn will be in attendance selling apparel from his “4th Rope” pop-up shop. Attendees can expect a knock-out celebration for wrestling fans of all ages. There is no charge to attend the event. Food, drink and merchandise will be pay-as-you-go.

We are almost obligated to give to that culture that started here. When people come to our store for the first time their eyes light up. We pride ourselves on being a slice of wrestling heaven. Suplex Owners Chris Kindig and Mike Molino have planned a knock-out outdoor block party for wrestling fans of all ages. This event is free to attend and the perfect opportunity to pre-game the “SOLD OUT” main event taking place Saturday and Sunday evenings at Lincoln Financial Field. For wrestling fans, the South Street block party will be a win-win as neighbors, locals and visitors get to be part of the amazing energy that will electrify Philadelphia next weekend.
