South Street Record Riot Returns With 15,000+ Vinyl Records and an Outdoor Block Party at Repo Records
Vinyl collectors and music lovers can get ready to dig through crates as the South Street Record Riot returns on Saturday, May 2, bringing thousands of records and a full-on block party atmosphere to Repo Records.
Running from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the event transforms the stretch between 5th and 6th Streets into an outdoor marketplace packed with music, vendors, and vintage finds—all with free admission.
With over 15,000 LPs and more than 40–50 vendor tables, the Record Riot offers something for everyone—from serious collectors to casual browsers.
Attendees can expect:
- LPs, CDs, and 45s across all genres
- Rare finds and collectible records
- Budget-friendly bins for crate diggers
Dealers from across the Philadelphia region and beyond will be on-site, making this one of the largest outdoor vinyl events of the season.
While vinyl is the main attraction, the event expands into a full street festival experience with:
- Vintage clothing vendors
- Crystals, collectibles, and unique goods
- Local South Street businesses joining the outdoor fun
Live music will keep the energy going throughout the day, adding to the laid-back, community-driven vibe.
Hosted by Record Riots in partnership with Repo Records, the event leans into South Street’s eclectic identity—blending music culture with shopping, art, and neighborhood energy.
Whether you’re hunting for rare pressings, flipping through dollar bins, or just soaking in the atmosphere, the South Street Record Riot offers a chance to experience one of Philly’s most iconic corridors in full swing.
