Philly’s premier live music tribute series is turning its attention to one of the most influential and iconic artists of all time.
Soul Sessions Tribute: Prince will take over Fringe Bar on Tuesday, June 16, bringing together some of the city’s top musicians and vocalists for an evening celebrating the music, artistry, and legacy of Prince. Doors open at 7 p.m., with the first set beginning at 8 p.m. Tickets are available at events.humanitix.com/soulsessionstributeprince
Held at Fringe Bar (140 N. Christopher Columbus Boulevard), the event is the latest installment of the popular Soul Sessions Tribute series, which has built a reputation for delivering intimate, high-energy live performances honoring legendary artists across genres.
A Tribute to a Musical Legend
Known for timeless hits such as Purple Rain, When Doves Cry, Kiss, Little Red Corvette, and 1999, Prince remains one of music’s most celebrated and innovative performers. His genre-defying catalog continues to inspire artists decades after his rise to fame.
Leading the evening will be acclaimed keyboardist and musical director Luke Carlos O’Reilly, whose live arrangements have become a hallmark of the Soul Sessions experience.
The event will once again be hosted by Philadelphia favorite Jay The Gentleman, who has helped establish the series as one of the city’s most sought-after live music experiences.
“We had a monumental night paying tribute to Stevie Wonder in May, so it felt right to come back with a tribute to Prince,” said Jay The Gentleman. “This one aims to be our biggest night thus far.”

The Prince tribute will showcase a talented lineup of featured vocalists and musicians performing some of the Purple One’s most beloved songs.

An Intimate Night of Music and Community
Part concert, part celebration, Soul Sessions Tribute has become known for creating an atmosphere where music lovers can gather, connect, and experience classic songs performed by some of the region’s most talented artists.
Guests can choose between general admission tickets or reserved tables. Organizers note that table reservations include admission and are expected to sell quickly.
Due to demand, reserved tables must be claimed within 15 minutes of arrival. Tables are reserved for guests ordering food and beverages, and Fringe Bar’s kitchen will remain open until 9:30 p.m.
