Santa Paws is Coming to Town to Snap a Photo With Your Pup!
Kimpton Hotel Palomar’s annual Santa Paws event is returning on Saturday, December 7th. Pups of all breeds are welcome to visit Santa Paws in the hotel’s living room for a professional photo, which happens to make an excellent holiday card. New this year, there will be a holiday sweater bar for doggos to borrow from for their photo to keep them looking festive.
Photos are free, but donations will be accepted for Lulu’s Rescue, who will be on-site with some adoptable pups. A treat bar will be provided by Doggie Style, and humans can enjoy their own treats and cocoa from Square 1682.
A professional photographer will be on-hand to capture all of the precious moments with Santa, and all will receive a gift bag of treats from local pet boutique Doggie Style. Pups can borrow from the holiday sweater bar to look their best for their big moment in front of the camera. The event is complimentary but the hotel will be accepting donations on behalf of Lulu’s Rescue, who will be on site with some adoptable pups. Holiday refreshments for people and pets alike will be available, courtesy of the adjacent Square 1682. New this year, author Scott Fegley will be doing signings of his new book The Meaning of Home, which was inspired by his own rescue dog.
As a 100% pet-friendly hotel, the Palomar enjoys celebrating the season with all of its guests, especially the four-legged ones. It is also important to the hotel to give back to the community and support local partners who are doing so much good like Lulu’s, a local animal rescue.
