Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty is Opening a Store in Philly
Rihanna fans shouldn’t expect new music anytime soon. Although fans have been hounding her for new jams to listen to and use for IG captions, the chart topping star has been way too busy with her lingerie line Savage X Fenty. However, there is great news for Rihanna fans in Philly, it looks like she chose Philly as one of the five cities to have their own Savage X Fenty store.
No actual details were given on when and where the store will be but in a recent IG post Rihanna stated, “In 2022, we coming in HOT! we bout to bring you a whole new #SavageXFenty experience with the launch of our brick-and-mortar retail stores! can’t believe it’s actually that time, and I can’t wait for you to have this experience irl…. our very first locations: Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Houston, Philadelphia, and Washington DC. watch the @savagexfenty feed for details.”
Savage X Fenty has skyrocketed in popularity and received a $1 billion valuation. “The lingerie brand posted revenue growth of more than 200% last year, and “increased its active VIP member base by more than 150%,” according to a statement from the company. CultureBanx reported that Savage x Fenty is in a position to be the global lingerie market leader by 2025, the same year that women’s activewear is expected to reach a $216.9 billion value. Rihanna’s brand has proven that diversity and inclusion in sizing, access, and marketing can lead to an even greater goal, equity in feeling sexy,” Forbes states.
