Philly’s Music and Food Festival, Smorefest Returns This Fall Featuring 50+ Artists & DJs

The eclectic 3-day music and food festival, Smorefest makes its return on September 30th – October 2nd at the Lawn at uCity Square ( 3701 Filbert St.).

Powered by founder James Weldon and The Artistry Collective, Smorefest bridges the gap between local businesses, emerging recording artists and world class mainstream acts. With the “goal of revitalizing the city’s rich culture, Weldon and team work tirelessly to provide a thoughtfully curated experience year after year,” states the festival organizers.

In 2021, Smorefest was headlined by the Grammy-nominated Masego, Elhae, and Jon Vinyl. This year, Smorefest returns with an even more robust lineup of emerging talent from the tristate area.

From charming West Philadelphia crooner, Beano French, to the bold, Jersey rap heavyweight Mir Fontane, ticket holders are certainly in for a treat and that’s not just because there will be FREE S’MORES present. Other performers this year include Caleborate, 3Breezy, Leila Dey, Sunnie, Noel Scales, Jus O, and more.

“In our third year, we will continue our philanthropic efforts to uplift under-represented musicians, support music education and build value within the city of Philadelphia. Very much like the campfire treat, s’mores, we coalesce relationship building, a passion for the arts, and a sense of adventure to make Smorefest a peaceful, memorable event for our community,” Weldon shares with us.  Tickets are available at smorefestmusicfestival.com
