Nifty Fifty’s Opens in South Philly After 17 Years & Plans Another Opening in Fishtown!
Nifty Fifty’s Opens in South Philly After 17 Years & Plans Another Opening in Fishtown!
Back in March we reported about the soon-to-be open Nifty Fifty’s diner at 10th and Oregon. Now the popular retro diner is officially open for business. Â It has been 17 years since Nifty Fifty’s was slinging milkshakes and burgers in South Philly.
Unlike their other three locations, the South Philly Nifty Fifty’s is franchised. Â A company owned location is slated to open in Fishtown at the newly dubbed “Fishtown Crossing” on Aramingo Avenue (formally Port Richmond Village). Â Whether you consider it Fishtown or Port Richmond, you can argue about it in the comments. Â No exact opening date has been given as of yet.
Unlike other locations, the new South Philly diner will not serve breakfast. Â Their hours will be weekdays 11 am to 11 pm and 11 am to 1 am on weekends. Â Obviously due to the pandemic all food is for takeout only and patrons can order at their walk-up window.
