More Name Changes at the Sports Complex: Xfinity Live! is Officially Changing Its Name to Stateside Live! This Fall
If you’ve ever cheered on the Birds in front of the massive 58-foot LED screen at NBC Sports Arena, tested your balance on the mechanical bull at PBR Philly, or grabbed a slice of Lorenzo and Sons pizza the size of your arm, chances are you’ve made memories at Xfinity Live!
This fall, Xfinity Live! will officially become Stateside Live!, thanks to a new partnership with Stateside Brands, a craft distillery headquartered in Kensington. The rebrand comes alongside a $20 million expansion project, slated to wrap up in 2026, that will turn the venue into a full-scale entertainment hub with new upgrades inside, outside, and across an expanded footprint.
Why the Change?
In a recent interview with NBC10, For Stateside, Matt Quigley, President and Co-Founder of Stateside Brands, stated that the change is a full-circle moment:
“If you really look at the epicenter of our growth, it is rooted in Philadelphia, but particularly Philly sports. We built our following one sporting event at a time, over a decade of tailgates and supporting our teams. This naming rights partnership is a crowning moment, and we look forward to many more years of celebrating what it means to be a fan in Philadelphia.”
The rebrand to Stateside Live! isn’t just about a name change—it’s about keeping the venue deeply tied to the city’s culture. Tony Monaco, VP of Operations for Live! Hospitality & Entertainment, says the partnership was a natural fit:
“Stateside is a quality brand with a deep connection to Philadelphia and a strong understanding of the market. As we look to the future of Stateside Live! and our expansion, we couldn’t be more excited to bring this homegrown partnership to the city and continue delivering a world-class experience for our guests.”
So what can fans expect? The big screens, lively atmosphere, and endless food-and-drink options aren’t going anywhere—but now, they’ll come with a distinctly Philly-flavored stamp of approval. It’s the same place you’ve celebrated your team’s biggest wins, just with a new name that reflects the city’s spirit.
