Miller Lite Will Pay for All Subway Rides for Eagle’s Opener
National beer giant Miller Lite released a statement saying that for the 2nd year in a row they will foot the bill for all Broad St. riders for the Eagle’s home opener against the Jaguars on Sept. 7th. SEPTA passengers can take advantage of this offer from 10 am to 6 pm on game day.
A round trip on the BSL is $4.50, although this will save Eagle fans some coin, they will definitely pay more than double for a cup of Miller at the Linc. Either way folks who aren’t traveling to the game can also take advantage so it’s a win-win all around.
Last year Miller Lite stated that 36,000 riders took advantage of their offer. Considering the fare prices at the time it would be safe to say it set back Miller about $80,000.
