Mike’s BBQ is Coming to Fishtown for a One Day Pop-Up at Kismet Bagels
Kismet Bagels is continuing with its focus on collaborating with Philly’s favorites food brands, this time joining forces with Mike’s BBQ for a “Burnt Ends BBQ Bialy” on Friday, October 7th at Kismet Bagels’ shop located at 113 E. Girard Avenue in Fishtown.
The limited edition offering comes on a Kismet Bagels’ Everything Bialy with Kismet Bagels Schmear, fried onions, and Brussels sprouts, and is topped with Mike’s BBQ brisket burnt ends and BBQ sauce. The bialy costs $10 apiece, and is available only for walk-up orders between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. or sellout.
In addition to Mike Strauss’s Mike’s BBQ, Kismet Bagels owners Jacob and Alexandra Cohen have previously teamed up for bialy collaborations with Amanda Shulman of Her Place Supper Club, Yehuda Sichel of HUDA, Frank Olivieri of Pat’s King of Steaks, Dave Quaile of Freelance Pizza, Dominc Rocconi (Hoagie Dom), and Henry Morgan of Homeroom in Gladwyne.
The Cohens are continuing this collaboration series as they prepare to open the city’s first bialy stall later this fall inside the Reading Terminal Market.
