Mike Solomonov, The Chef Behind Zahav, Federal Donuts & Dizengoff Will Be Making Cheesesteaks at Pat’s
For quite some time Pat’s King of Steaks has been inviting some of Philly’s hottest chefs to become celebrity cheesesteak makers all in the name of charity. Each guest chef creates a specialty cheesesteak and serves them on the spot with proceeds going to their charity of choice. We last reported Jose Garces which created a foodie frenzy. Now another huge name in the Philly food scene will be slinging steaks. Mike Solomonov, one half of the CookNSolo team along with Steven Cook, has been behind some of the most critically acclaimed spots in the city including Dizengoff, Federal Donuts and of course Zahav.
Chef Solomonov will be rolling up his sleeves on October 19th to raise money for the Broad Street Hospitality Collaborative. So what special steaks will he be serving? Well staying true to his Israeli roots, Mike will be serving steaks with shawarma spice, tehina, and pickled peppers from 5 to 8 pm. We expect long lines to get there early!
