Meet Philly’s Newest Mascot “Blob” of The Philadelphia Stars

If you’re not aware Philly has a new football team, The Philadelphia Stars of the United States Football League (USFL).  Now the team isn’t exactly new.  The Stars were apart of the USFL before it went defunct the first time and actually played at the Vet back in the day (1983-84) and winning the championship in 84′ before relocating to Baltimore.

Now the USFL is back but the The Stars will not be playing in Philly. In fact all teams will be playing at a neutral field in Birmingham, AL. Now although The Stars won’t be in Philly they’re still a hometown team and with that, they recently introduced their mascot.

After letting fans decide, The Philadelphia Stars announce that their new mascot will be named Blob. Check out the posts below:
