Spring has sprung and that means summer is right around the corner.  So for those looking to get in shape and are looking for awesome free workout opportunities, Dilworth Park has you covered.

Starting in April Dilworth Park will offer a variety of fitness events including Zumba, Boot Camp and High Intensity Interval Training. It’s all apart of Center City Fit presented by Rothman Orthopaedics.

Boot Camp starts April 13th and will continue each Tuesday until April 27th.  Classes will be held 6-7 pm and will be led by expert trainer Guy Nanni.

Zumba at Dilworth Park will begin April 12th and will continue every Monday through October 11th.  These classes will also take place 6-7 pm and will be led by expert instructor Dwayne Townsend.  Dwayne will provide an  intense workout disguised as lively dance party set to Latin and pop music.

Last but not least, High Intensity Interval Training, or HIIT, is the latest addition to the Center City Fit  lineup.  This cardiovascular exercise pushes participants of all skill levels to get through short periods of intense drills.

All fitness classes are supported by Optimal Sport 1315 Walnut.  Dilworth Park is asking participants to arrive early to fill out a waiver, which can be accessed via a personal smartphone. Tablets will be available if a smartphone is inaccessible. There will be no bag check. Please keep at least 6ft of distance from other participants, and masks are required. Anyone who feels sick, or has come in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 within the past 14 days, should refrain from entering the park.
