Jersey Water Parks and Amusement Parks Will Operate at 50% Capacity!
New Jersey is continuing to move forward with reopening the state. In a recent announcement, Governor Murphy stated that water parks and outdoor amusement parks will be open by July 2nd.
In trying to keep safety in mind, Governor Murphy also added some restrictions which include that parks limit capacity to 50%. In addition face masks are strongly encouraged to be worn “where practicable”
In addition playgrounds are also able to reopen. However, any outdoor gatherings at parks should be limited to 250 people.
Aside from parks, casinos will also be open on the July 2nd date. However, as with parks casinos will also be restricting their capacity. All casinos will be resume at 25% capacity.
So for anyone looking to head to Jersey for some summer fun, just know that lines and waiting times will be at an all-time high due to limited capacity.
