Fine Palate hosts a special four course prix fixe dinner in honor of Valentine’s Day – on Friday, February 10 and Saturday, February 11, and Tuesday, February 14, 2017 (closed for dinner Sunday/Monday). Highlights include special Mediterranean Blue Lobster, Buffalo Fillet Mignon “Wellington Style”, Housemade Agnolotti with Black Truffles, Roasted Duck Breast, Foie Gras Torchon Pickled Mulberry Cauliflower, Hokkaido Uni and crab Chawanmushi and more. Philly’s premier craft beer restaurant and bar is setting the mood this Valentine’s Day with the most notorious aphrodisiac – Fresh Shucked Oysters, served with pinenuts, arugula, shaved parmesan and strawberry vinaigrette. Guests can also enjoy a Salmon with Red Wine Cinnamon Reduction served with oven roasted carrots, as well as delicious Artichoke Hearts, breaded and fried, and served with a basil mayo. The Little Lion in Old City breaks out the bubbly on Valentine’s Day and Weekend with a four course prix fixe champagne cocktail dinner. Selections include menu favorites as well as some special new dishes. The standard a la carte menu is also available. First course features Lobster Consume paired with a Lemon Fizz. Second course featured choice of Kale Caesar, Roasted Tomato Soup, Potato Fondue or Tri Color Beet Salad paired with a Ginger Blueberry Hibiscus. Revolution Chop House at Valley Forge Casino Resort features a special three course menu for Valentine’s Day from Friday, February 10, 2017 through Tuesday, February 14, 2017 – Appetizer selections include a Roasted Beet Salad featuring golden and candy striped beets, pickled shallots, spiced pecans, goat cheese crema and micro arugula. Other appetizer offerings include Thick Cut Jalapeno Bacon and a Onion Soup Gratin with aged Gruyère, parmesan, crouton.  For the Second Course guests can choose from an 8 oz. Filet Mignon paired with Truffled Potato Puree, Free Range Chicken with sautéed kale, sweet potato purée and a port wine demi glaze or Verlasso Salmon served with a parsnip purée, braised fennel and finished with a Beurre rouge sauce. Parks & Recreation star, Leslie Knope, coined the term in 2010 and since then, February 13th has since been known as Galentine’s Day. For those not a fan of the show, Galentine’s Day is a fictional holiday created for ladies and the love they have for their girlfriends. Jet Wine Bar, Philadelphia’s “global vineyard,” is celebrating accordingly this year with a Galentine’s Day celebration on Monday, February 13th at 4pm. Ladies can celebrate each other while enjoying $1 off all glasses of rosé as well as a $15 rosé flight and a specialty sparkling rosé cocktail. While guests sip rosé, a Parks & Recreation marathon will play on the Jet Wine Bar televisions. Although Galentine’s Day is for the ladies, men are more than welcome to join in on the festivities!

The venue formerly known as Top of the Tower, is hosting Cupid in the Sky this Valentine’s Day from 6-8pm. Love-struck couples will have a front row seat to the twinkling lights of the city’s western skyline while enjoying live music from Louis Petenelli Duo and a deluxe tasting menu paired with a complimentary flight of three wines.  The six courses include an antipasti, followed by Shrimp Cocktail, Butternut Squash Soup, Arugula Salad, choice of entrée, and choice of dessert at $185 per couple. Guests will choose from a 6 oz. Filet Mignon served with truffled gruyere potato gratin, Cider Brined Roasted Chicken Breast or Potato Crusted Waloo Tuna, an 8 oz Fresh Waloo Tuna served with sweet potato risotto, pea shoots and lobster sauce. The meal is capped with a lemoncello apertif and champagne accompaniment to the dessert selection. The 51st floor open-air terrace will be open for romantic selfies or an after-dinner cocktail with the city skyline as a breathtaking back drop. Dinner seatings are at 6pm. Chefs Mike Sultan and Carolyn Nguyen present two perfect pairings for Valentine’s Day and Weekend at Revolution Taco. On the savory side, look for a special twist on the Surf and Turf with a limited edition taco featuring fried foie gras, lobster salad, apple slaw and tobiko. On the sweet side, the cooking duo teams up with Rival Bros Coffee for a special Tres Leches Cake Collaboration. Also known as pan tres leches (“three milks bread”), this limited edition dessert features lemon scented butter cake with a mixture of sugar, milk, sweetened condensed milk, half and half, and Rival Brothers espress beans. The cake is topped with with whip cream and fresh fruit – with a house berry puree.

Tres Leche Cake with Rival Bros started a few years ago when the food-trucking duo were making desserts for Street Food Philly Food Truck- but they ran out of milk for the final batch. “Luckily, Johnny Mack from Rival Brothers coffee was parked right in front of us and put together a milk coffee concoction for the cake.They kept us well caffeinated and we kept them well fed,” added Sultan. Tres Leche Cake is part of Revolution Taco’s special “duos” for Valentine’s Day that also includes a Valentine’s “Surf and Turf” taco featuring fried foie gras, lobster salad, apple slaw and tobiko.

Both the Tres Leche Cake and the Surf and Turf Taco are available starting February 10 through Valentine’s Day February 14, 2017.

Fette Sau Executive Chef, Jason Goodman, has prepared a five-course dinner guests can truly “pig out” on. Each course is paired perfectly with a carefully curated cocktail by Phoenixville distillery, Bluebird Distilling. Menu highlights include a Mushroom Duxelle Stuffed Pork Loin paired with an Orange Vanilla Old Fashioned, as well as a Fresh Ham with Pear Mustardo to be carved tableside complemented by a Spiced Bourbon Pear Punch. Dinner starts at 7pm and reservations are required.

The feature menu kicks off with Crispy Marinated Cauliflower served with baby arugula, shaved pecorino, lemon and extra virgin olive oil, and Seared Scallops served with mushroom, fennel and bitter greens. For the main course, guests will get a taste of the south with a Cold-Smoked Duck Breast served with collard greens, chestnut polenta and collard liquor. Sweethearts with a sweet tooth should be sure to indulge in the Apple & Almond Pave served with caramelized apples, almond frangipane, and maple & thyme ice cream. Lovers will be seeing red after indulging in Red Owl Tavern’s four-course prix fixe deluxe “Red” Valentine’s Day menu. For $65, guests will enjoy a Tuna Carpaccio amuse served with soy, ginger, chili flakes and sesame, Cauliflower Soup served with crab, apple, beet and nasturtium followed by an Herb Crusted Rack of Lamb served with tallegio polenta, Tardivo raicchio and spicy tomato jam. For dessert, sweethearts will enjoy a beet-based blue cheese cheesecake. Trust us, it’s delicious.
