Fishtown’s Neighborhood-Wide Happy Hour, Fishtown Taps Returns Featuring 26 Restaurants & Bars

Back for its 3rd year, Fishtown District’s  summer-long happy hour, Fishtown Taps returns featuring more restaurant and bars than ever.  Every Tuesday, starting May 27th, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, 26 of the neighborhood’s top restaurants and bars will be offering $5 beers, $6 wines, $7 cocktails, as well as discounted appetizers and specially priced mocktails/ zero proof cocktails.

“We have been hosting Fishtown Taps to draw more people to Fishtown and Kensington during the week and showcase our thriving food and drink scene,” said Fishtown District Executive Director Marc Collazzo. “Last year, the program was so successful we extended it several times and this year we decided let’s make it all summer long into the fall.  We have a record number of participating locations and the list is expected to grow by our launch night on May 27th. With the lure of specialty cocktails, beer, and wine, the streets come alive with new energy, fresh faces, and increased foot traffic. It is a win-win for the district, our businesses and the consumer.”

He added, “We’re thrilled to bring “Fishtown Taps” back this year and once again see the neighborhood buzzing with activity. This initiative doesn’t just benefit the participating bars and restaurants—it supports our entire community, from retail shops to local services.”

Fishtown Taps happy hour is a chance for people to come and try out the notable bars and restaurants and take advantage of the discounted offerings. Fishtown District is proud to again partner with Max Thalheimer, founder of the local discovery app FYND, to help promote the return of Fishtown Taps. FYND connects users with drink specials, local events, and happenings across the city—making it the perfect platform to showcase this weekly event. Through the app, visitors can explore all participating locations and view up-to-date listings of featured beers, wines, cocktails, and small bites available each week.
