First-ever Mummer Mixology Cocktail Class at Art in the Age!
Art in the Age, Philadelphia’s one-of-a-kind tasting room, home bar supply and bottle shop, is hosting its first-ever Mummer Mixology class on Tuesday, May 14th 6-8pm. The ultimate Philly libation learning experience will be led by cocktail specialist, Lee Noble, who will shake and strain behind the bar in full Fancy Brigade regalia.
Inspired by one of Philly’s wildest traditions, guests will learn how to make three signature cocktails, perfect for strutting down Broad Street or partying on Two Street.
Mummer Mixology attendees are encouraged to don their own golden slippers in honor of the oldest folk festival in the country, or risk having one provided, for the welcome champagne toast served Shoey-style.
The event is BYORSC (Bring Your Own Red Solo Cup) and guests are encouraged to RSVP as space is limited. The class is $40 and includes two cocktails, with mixology demonstration, hands-on instruction, live entertainment from a full string band, and outrageous garnishes guaranteed to win a ribbon or two.
