Art in the Age Teamed-Up With Milk Jawn to Create Boozy Ice Cream Just In Time For Summer

Art in the Age(116 N. 3rd St.), Philly’s experiential tasting room , home bar supply and bottle shop, just announced its collaboration with popular Philly ice cream maker Milk Jawn, on their newest offering: booze topped ice cream, available now through the end of the summer.

Every day of the week, ice cream lovers can visit Art in the Age to indulge in Milk Jawn’s creamy Double Fold Vanilla flavor, as well as a weekly rotating flavor – this week’s pick is Milk & Cookies – topped with a selection of premium spirits from Art in the Age. Offerings include artisan Art in the Age cordials such as Sierra Fig, Mountain Berry, Black Trumpet Blueberry (the only cordial made with mushrooms and reminiscent of blueberry pie), and Apple Crisp. The iconic Amaro Float is also available via zero-proof elixir, The Pathfinder Hemp and Root, akin to a no-alc amaro and recently lauded in the New York Times.

“We’re so excited to continue our pattern of collaborating with other small businesses in the city,” said Craig Richie, General Manager at Art in the Age. “Especially when it comes to something as delicious as Black Trumpet Blueberry poured over Milk Jawn’s vanilla ice cream on a hot summer day.”

Patrons can even top their ice cream with limited releases from sister distillery Tamworth Distilling, including House of Tamworth Graverobber Unholy Rye, made with maple syrup tapped from graveside maple trees in New Hampshire, Tamworth Garden Pommeau, the acclaimed spirit made from fresh apple cider and distilled brandy, plus many more.

Every Thursday, this sweet treat is available at a special rate: A serving of Milk Jawn ice cream served at Art in the Age costs $5, with cordial toppers for just an additional $1. Friday through Wednesday, ice cream is still $5, with cordial toppers offered for an additional $3. Limited special release toppers are available for an additional $7.

Additionally, the bar at Art in the Age is now open for imbibers to enjoy selections from the rotating seasonal cocktail menu and weekly specials including Mai Tai Tuesdays, in which guests can enjoy Mai Tais all day for just $10 each, and Whiskey Wednesdays, where every Wednesday a new whiskey-based cocktail is $10 each. Guests are encouraged to check out Art in the Age’s Instagram page (@artintheage) each day for details on that day’s drink.

Art in the Age is currently operating during the following business hours: Tuesday – Thursday 12 –7 pm, Friday – Saturday 12 – 8 pm, and Sunday from 12 – 6 pm.
