East Market is Hosting a Bastille Day Pop-up Celebration With French Food, Drinks and Live Music!
If you’re a fan of french food, drinks and music then you may want to head over to East Market (1118 Market St.) Sunday July 18th, where they’ll be hosting a Bastille Day Celebration.
Guests will get to enjoy a variety of French-inspired food and drink specials, live music and more. Sip on French 75 riffs and specially brewed Saison’s, alongside sweet & savory crepes, sliders and pommes frites from Iron Hill Brewery and The Wayward Brasserie. Plus, say ooh la la in front a photobooth with friends as you listen to the sounds of Judah Kim and Blues Junior. Admission to this little slice of France is free and is family and pet friendly.
Bastille Day or French National Day is the anniversary of the Storming of the Bastille that took place on July 14th 1789. and is celebrated as the unity of the French people. Celebrations are held throughout France and has been reported as “the oldest and largest military parade in Europe”
