Drink the Delaware Festival Returns With 15+ Beer and Food Vendors to Raise Awareness for Local Waterways

Love local beer? Care about clean water? Here’s your excuse to raise a glass for both.

On Saturday, March 28, from 4–9 PM, Drink the Delaware festival takes over the waterfront at the Independence Seaport Museum (211 S. Columbus Blvd.), bringing together local breweries, distilleries, cideries, food vendors, musicians, and environmental advocates for an evening that celebrates the Delaware River—and the industries that depend on it. Tickets are available at phillyseaport.org/drink-the-delaware/

Hosted by the Independence Seaport Museum in partnership with Home Brewed Events, Drink the Delaware is more than a tasting festival. It’s a celebration of the region’s waterways and the vital role clean water plays in everything from ecosystems and wildlife to the drinks in your glass.

Guests can sample beverages from some of the region’s favorite producers, including:

  • Drinks
  • Art in the Age
  • Broken Goblet Brewing
  • Dewey (VIP)
  • Fell to Earth
  • Human Robot
  • Inspire Kombucha
  • Love City
  • Lucky Cat Beer Co.
  • New Liberty Distilling
  • Philadelphia Distilling
  • Wissahickon Brewing

Throughout the evening, attendees will also hear from experts in brewing, distilling, and environmental services about how water—particularly from the Delaware River—plays a critical role in crafting beer, spirits, kombucha, and more. The goal: to leave with a deeper appreciation for environmental stewardship and the importance of protecting our local waterways.

Food will be available pay-as-you-go from:

  • Jezabel’s
  • Wild Flour Bakery
  • Popcorn for the People
  • Live entertainment will keep the energy flowing, with performances by:
  • Roots with Ruark
  • Ship’s Company Chantymen

There are two ways to experience Drink the Delaware:
