“Dining Out For Life,” Philadelphia’s largest dining fundraiser Returns!

Dining Out For Life, Philadelphia’s largest dining fundraiser, is returning to the Greater Philadelphia Area on Thursday, April 18, 2019. This longstanding tradition was founded in Philadelphia by Action Wellness (known then as ActionAIDS) and is now in its 29th year. To assist Action Wellness and other local support groups, on April 18 150+ participating restaurants will donate 33% of your food bill back to local HIV/AIDS service organizations: Action WellnessAIDS Delaware, and Camden Area Health Education Center, Inc.

In support of Dining Out For Life, Manatawny Still WorksDarnel’s CakesWeckerly’s Ice CreamReAnimator Coffee, and Yards Brewing Company are offering unique flavors and brews, with a portion of proceeds benefiting Action Wellness. These special offerings will only be available throughout the month of April.

ReAnimator Coffee is debuting a special Dining Out For Life blend to be sold in their cafes and online April 8 through 18. Darnel’s Cakes will donate 20% of their website cookie and cake sales from April 4 through 18. You can also stop by Yards Brewing Company tap room on April 18 and taste the freshly brewed Action IPA. Join Manatawny Still Works on April 18 for a late night DOFL happy hour at their South Philadelphia tasting room. And lastly, treat yourself with a specialty DOFL ice cream sundae brought to you by Weckerly’s Ice Cream, on April 18 as well.

Founded in Philadelphia in 1991 by Action Wellness (known then as ActionAIDS), Dining Out For Life is now produced in over 60 cities throughout the United States and Canada. Through the simple act of dining out, the event collectively raises over $4 million every year for HIV/AIDS service organizations. Action Wellness works with local businesses and tastemakers through partnership so they are able to better the communities they serve.
