The City is Offering Free Parking Every Saturday for the Holidays

In an overwhelming kind gesture Mayor Nutter has announced that there will be free parking city-wide every Saturday after 11 am for all those looking to take advantage of the city’s restaurants and shops.
In a statement released by city hall, Mayor Nutter was quoted as saying:
“We want to encourage folks to take this opportunity to enjoy our stores, our restaurants, our shops and other attractions without having to worry about their meter expiring at least on Saturday,” Mayor Michael Nutter says. “Now on Saturday and Sundays, during that same time period, all day long — $8 at all Parking Authority garages including the brand new garage under the brand new family court building at 15th and Arch.”
The city plans to post flyers on all kiosks detailing the new free parking initiative to inform drivers throughout the holiday season.
