Chickie’s and Pete’s and Fat Ham are Coming to Spruce Street Harbor Park This Summer
Hands down Philly’s hottest summer time hang out, Spruce Street Harbor Park features everything you need to enjoy a summer day or night. From the views to the food to the games and just overall atmosphere Spruce Street has it all. So what can a place that has it all do to make itself better? Aside from opening up earlier (May 6th) adding more food is the obvious answer. You can never have enough options to grub on.
With an already impressive line-up including Franklin Fountain, Frozen Delights, Federal Donuts and Garces Group, Spruce Street looks to add a couple of local food favorites Chickie’s and Pete’s and Fat Ham. Well actually Little Fat Ham which will be a miniature version of the Chef Sbraga’s flagship restaurant. Little Fat Ham will be offering hot fish sandwich along with mouth watering selections such as pulled pork, beef brisket, spicy pork rinds, corn on the cob, homemade Southern sweet tea and old-fashioned lemonade.
As for Chickie’s and Pete’s they’ll be serving, well you guessed it their signature crab fries along with cheesesteaks and crab pretzels. The OG of the park, Garces Group will make their floating section of the park an enticing one with fare including Distrito tacos and fresh fruit margaritas.
With over 750,000 visitors hanging out and eating all last summer, we’re hopping that these spots are stocking up on their food inventory because this year we expect even more visitors to be laying in hammocks and spending hot summer nights at this spot.
