Bok’s Annual B[L]OK Party Returns This Weekend With Live Music, Food Trucks, a Marketplace, Family Activities, & More
One of South Philly’s favorite neighborhood traditions is back this summer as Bok prepares to host their Annual B[L]OK Partyon Saturday, June 13, bringing together local artists, food vendors, musicians, families, and community organizations for an afternoon of celebration.
Taking place from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. along Mifflin Street between 8th and 9th Streets, the free event transforms the area surrounding Bok into a lively block party filled with live entertainment, local shopping, food, drinks, and activities for all ages.
Now entering its ninth year, the B[L]OK Party has become a beloved South Philly tradition, drawing hundreds of residents and visitors to celebrate the creativity, diversity, and community spirit that define both Bok and the surrounding neighborhood.
A South Philly Block Party With a Bok Twist
Inspired by classic city block parties, the B[L]OK Party offers a uniquely Bok experience, showcasing many of the artists, makers, entrepreneurs, and organizations that call the building and neighborhood home.
Guests can spend the afternoon exploring vendor booths, enjoying live performances, grabbing a bite to eat, and letting the kids burn off some energy in family-friendly activity zones.
Of course, organizers promise the return of one of the event’s biggest crowd favorites: the bounce house.
