The American Philosophical Society will invite visitors to learn the useful knowledge behind brewing and beer. The APS museum is happy to partner with Home Brewed Events to bring you the third in a series of four lectures titled “Useful Knowledge 101.” The evening will feature beer samples from local breweries and provide a taste of Philly’s beer history.

Most notable on the docket is Coolship Red, our spontaneously fermented beer aged on raspberries. From brewing to pouring, this one takes over two years. This is the first time we’ve brewed enough to send it outside of our brewery, so stop by and enjoy a taste of this rare Allagash gem.
