Orchestra After 5 is Back With a Night of Haydan & Mozart Along With a DJ, Cocktails, Painting Experience, and Scavenger Hunt
In case you didn’t know, The Philadelphia Orchestra kicked-off a special evening series dubbed Orchestra After 5 with a variety of themes and plenty of laid back vibes. Orchestra After 5’s first event consisted of a Flamenco & Tango theme for a special Valentine’s Day event.
Now the series returns on April 4th with Orchestra After 5:Haydn and Mozart Power Hour “A classical concert with a casual vibe.” The night will kick-off at 5 pm where guests will get to indulge in themed cocktails as well as a DJ set by Omar Saleem of Mobbluz who will be transitioning from classical to pop then pop to classical. Philadelphia Orchestra Principal Librarian Nicole Jordan will also be on-hand to provide cultural liner notes.
The entertainment doesn’t stop there because ARTrageous Brush and Flow will also be on-hand to lead a “Moz-Art: A Symphony of Colors” painting activity. But wait there’s more because attendees will get to take part in a special “Haydn Seek” Scavenger Hunt.
The pre-concert activities will conclude at 6:30 pm which is when the concert begins. A 60-minute Philadelphia Orchestra concert featuring Haydan & Mozert will take place followed by a special post-concert talkback at 7:30 pm.
