Want Some Booze to Go With Your Sweets? Manatawny is Hosting Cake Life for an Evening of Dessert & Liquor Pairings
Let them eat cake….and drink booze. This is what’s going down on Saturday February 10th at The Manatawny Still Works Fishtown Tasting Room (1321 N. Lee St.) when Cake Life Bake Shop (1306 Frankford Ave.) will be popping up for a special collaboration dubbed Sweets and Spirits with Cake Life.
From 2 – 4pm, cake and spirits lovers can enjoy a one-night-only tasting event and indulge in a “flight” of Cake Life’s decadent desserts (think: cookies, mini-cupcakes, tarts, and bars) alongside paired small-format cocktails crafted using whiskey, gin, and rum. Representatives from Manatawny Still Works and Cake Life will guide guests through the tasting, sharing the inspiration behind each pairing.
