The Fishtown Music & Arts Festival Returns With Live Bands, DJS, Food Trucks & 70+ Vendors
The fall festival season is in full swing and Fishtown’s newest festival returns just in time. On Saturday October 7th from 11 am to 10 pm the Fishtown Music & Arts Festival will take place at North Front Street & West Thompson Street. As you would expect by the name, expect plenty of music, entertainment and of course art.
“This year’s festival continues the focus on some of our most popular local bands and DJs performing around the city. Our inaugural year was a huge success despite limited exposure and brand recognition. There is significantly more buzz around the event this year and we anticipate an even larger turnout. The goal is to connect all the venues and businesses in the center of Fishtown and grow this one-day festival into a major event drawing people from around the tri-state and greater Northeast to see the best that Philly has to offer,” states founder Anthony Talarico.
This year the festival’s vendors will be curated by Now + Then Marketplace’s Steph Irwin and will feature 70+ vendors for the ultimate festival shopping experience.

As for the music, festival goers will be able to experience a variety of live bands as well as DJs for an eclectic vibe. In total there will be “10 hours of live music highlighting over 20 local musicians and DJ’s supported by leading production company D24K Sound. The day will begin with a Funky tribute to the Grateful dead which exemplifies the vibe of the day. We want everyone to come and connect with the music and each other,” Anthony added.
