Pizzata Pizzeria in Rittenhouse is Offering Free Slices of Pizza This Tuesday
Since opening its doors three years ago Pizzata Pizzeria (240 S. 22nd St.) have been award winning pies in Rittenhouse. Now Co-owners Davide Lubrano and Vinny Gallagher are changing things up introducing slices to the menu.
Pizzata quietly added slices to the menu on Thursday, July 20th, and have made them available for in-store pickup only from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. Availability will eventually expand into the evening hours later this summer. To celebrate the introduction of slices to the menu, Lubrano and Gallagher have decided to give away free slices of their pizza to all customers on Tuesday, July 25th beginning at 11:30 a.m. The promotion will run through 3 p.m. or sellout.
Slices of plain, pepperoni, and a rotating special will be available daily, and they will come as regular circle, square, and various types of slices on any given day. Regular pies will be cut into six slices instead of Pizzata’s usual eight, offering larger-than-normal slices to customers.
“We’ve wanted to add slices to the shop since Day 1, but we just had to make sure we had the right equipment and were able to execute this while still producing the best quality pizza we possibly can each and every day,” said Lubrano.
“Philly is such an incredible pizza city,” added Gallagher. “There are so many great pizza shops all throughout Philadelphia that are worth going out of your way for, but many of them do not offer slices. We’ve had customers asking us for years to add slices to the menu, and we’re excited to finally be able to do this.”
