The PHS Pop-Up Beer Garden on South Street is Hosting a Botanical Watercolor Class
Want to learn a new skill or simply want to create a cool art piece for your home? Whatever your reasons, those looking to partake in a watercolor class in a very unique and lively setting can do so on June 13th at the PHS Pop-Up Garden at 1438 South Street.
From 6 pm to 7:30 pm guests will be able to take a class with Jackie from Bird and Brush Art, a self-taught multi-disciplinary artist. Jackie will be teaching in a relaxed, beginner-friendly botanical watercolor class in the scenic South Street Pop-Up Garden, so you’ll have plenty of inspo.
Jackie will walk guests through all the basics of watercolor painting, including techniques, materials, color mixing, capturing light, and “seeing” your subject. Then you’ll pick your botanical subject from the garden and spend the remainder of the time painting to your heart’s content. Perfect to hone into your inner artists, an evening with friends, or a unique date night.
Tickets are $58 per person and can be purchased here. All needed supplies – and a special thank-you gift from Jackie – are included in the ticket price.
Please note: this garden serves alcohol so a valid, physical state issued ID is required to enter. Anyone under 21 is welcome but must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
