Philly Mag’s Philly Health Hero Challenge is Giving Away $10,000 But They Need Your Vote!
There is a lot of good happening in Philadelphia. More and more initiatives are being kick-started by everyday citizens to improve the quality of life in Philadelphia. Philly Mag is looking to shine the light and give a little moola to some of those shining examples in the community. The Health Hero Challenge presented by Independence Blue Cross, is a contest created by Philly Mag to present 10 of the biggest influencers in the world of health.
The nominees range from folks starting bike clubs to individuals creating companies that provide medical equipment to underprivileged neighborhoods and everything in-between. Currently there are 10 semi-finalist. Of those 10 the field will eventually be whittled down to 3 and eventually one winner will be chosen. The finalist of the Health Here Challenge presented by Independence Blue Cross, will receive a whopping $10,000 donated to their cause. The two runner-ups will both receive a generous $2,500 donated to their cause as well.
