New 10K Run Will Pass Through A Dozen Philly Neighborhoods

Operating three running stores in Philly,  Philadelphia Runner has announced a new raced called “The Philly 10k,” that will take runners through a dozen Philly neighborhoods.  The Philly 10k will take place September 6th.  It will start in Center City and cover all of South Philly and end at the Street Festival on East Passyunk.

The organizers purposely avoided popular running routes such as Fairmount Park and Kelly Drive, opting for a more “urban feel.”  Some of the neighborhoods the 10K will pass through include Pennspor, Queens Village, Bella Vista, Old City, Society Hill, and many more.
