Between Sunday, February 22 thru Saturday, February 28, 2015 feast on a 3-course prix fixe lunch and/or dinner at dozens of award-winning restaurants for either $15, $25 or $35. From low key BYOBs and pubs to elegant candlelight dining, East Passyunk Restaurant Week boasts a diversity of dining experiences and cuisines that offers something for everyone.

THE ILLUSIONISTS – WITNESS THE IMPOSSIBLE™ is produced by Simon Painter, Tim Lawson and MagicSpace Entertainment. Conceived by Simon Painter, the show’s creative team also includes executive producer Tim Lawson, director Neil Dorward and creative director Jim Millan. This mind-blowing spectacular showcases the jaw-dropping talents of seven of the most incredible illusionists on earth. Full of hilarious magic tricks, death-defying stunts and acts of breathtaking wonder, THE ILLUSIONISTS has dazzled audiences of all ages.

Don’t miss Origami Mania. Learn the ancient art of origami and transform a flat piece of paper into a beautifully-folded design. Make an origami design for yourself, and leave another one at the Museum to be included in a large-scale installation on April 29.
Suds Session A Beer Dinner Series

Join us Wednesday January 14th and each wednesday after as we kick off our weekly beer dinner series called “Suds Sessions”. Enjoy an educational and fun experience in our cozy fireside lounge. Each week we’ll have special guest from a brewery walk us through 5 courses of beers from the brewery, paired with four courses of food from our Chef at Kings Oak 7-9pm.
Mega Bad Movie Night: Anaconda

Join us at the Academy after hours to watch an “awesomely awful” movie. Witty experts will be onstage to offer their quips and sidesplitting comments on the many scientific absurdities—think Mystery Science Theater 3000! In this edition of Mega-Bad Movie Night we’ll be showing the 1997 classic Anaconda. Wander among the Academy’s famous exhibits such as Dinosaur Hall and Butterflies!—without kids! It’s a great place to meet fellow science nerds as you hang out with your friends.
